Bruised But Not Battered Illustration

"With 3 runs to get off around 3 overs, Rishabh whacked the ball to long-off for a four and the Indian dressing room emptied onto the Gabba ground. History will never forget this Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and neither will we."

Dear IPL Cover

"Just like captain Mayank Agarwal’s 99 not out in that last match, you, IPL, remained not out till the very end. In the middle of a scorching desert, you were an oasis. IPL, amidst an ocean of despair, you were our lifeboat."

Writing

After writing my fair share of essays and analytical pieces in high school, I came to an engineering college. By stroke of fate, I ended up in both the writing club (Renesa) and the literary society (LAC) and the spark in me was ignited. I started writing creatively, exploring new genres, and got addicted to the thrill of creating content. Check out my written work below:

Renesa

I am the former Chief Editor of Renesa - The Official Media and Publication House of NIT Surat. In my 3.25 years here from October 2018 to January 2022, I revolutionized Renesa and worked on multiple projects in numerous fields, including magazines, yearbooks, podcasts, journalism, website design, social media, and eventually, management. Check out my work for Renesa below:

Growing up, I didn't just read books; I consumed them. When I found a book I liked, everything else came second. Reading so much contributed immensely to my development as a writer by fueling my imagination and exposing me to a variety of cultures and worlds. Check out my fictional stories below:

Poetry

For 2 years in IB English HL Literature class, I analyzed poetry. When I finally churned out 2 poems of my own, "The Boy" and "The Flea Epilogue", I realized that I could do much more. After falling in love with poetry in high school, I wrote several more poems in college, published them, and entered several poetry competitions along the way. Check out my poems below:

What people have said about me and my work:

"It was so good. I read it with goosebumps all over my body throughout the article and not for once I felt like I knew it already. Felt like some kind of motivational story. Made me so proud yet emotional. Thank you for writing this and introducing me to all these emotions. Each line and word was important to know the whole story and feel those emotions. Such a rollercoaster ride."

"I hope that you will always remember to feed your soul with literature. It was a pleasure being your teacher Sumant and I hope that you will continue to be as excited in learning as you are humble. The world needs this goodness, this humility - there are too many raging egos and what is needed are educated and wise voices in these crucial times. I know that you will be one of those in whatever you do."
